THE CLIENT
Munns & Mars is an intimate apparel company based in Surat, Gujarat, India. They provide seamless, high-quality undergarments and shapewear for women to make their lives easier, happier and more comfortable. They are specialists in the feminine world, a brand created by a woman for women.
Founded by; Munira Sarkar in 2020 when the pandemic and the first lockdown happened. The brand was born from her health and body image struggles and - was further fuelled by the mission of inspiring women to feel more comfortable and confident and embrace body positivity in their skin.
During her health struggle in fighting third-stage breast cancer, a blessing in disguise was also born - her daughter Mariam. Whilst - undergoing the toughest of chemotherapy treatments, this miracle child was growing in her womb and fighting boldly like her mother. Hence in her honour, the name Munns (Munira) & Mars (Mariam) was kept to remind her to never give up on her dreams and aspirations.

THE BRIEF
To create a brand identity that reflects their multi-size vision. Several ideas were explored while conceptualising a mark for Munns & Mars. The goal was to have a clear distinctive mark, easily recognizable and unique to the brand.
Packaging Design
THE CHALLENGES
To create a meaningful and timeless visual identity that is distinctive and unique enough to stand out in a crowded market. It should be designed with longevity in mind focusing on the brand's core values and message rather than current design trends. Another challenge was to ensure that the logo adapts to different mediums and platforms, including digital and print media.
THE WEBSITE
We decided to use the Shopify platform as it offers a user-friendly platform with a wide range of customization options, including themes and templates, to create a unique and secure online store that accommodates business growth. With built-in marketing tools, different payment options, and reliable 24/7 customer support, Shopify is a scalable and reliable solution for businesses of all sizes.
